Travacco was born out of a shared desire to enhance and simplify the travel experience in India . It was born out of the belief that Indian hospitality meant a lot more than packaged tours to the Taj Mahal.

Keeping the above as our driving forces we got together and banded around Travacco to create, in what will hopefully be, the definitive online network of independent accommodations in the country.

Ashish Mehra (Founder, CEO) brings over eight years of online experience in the sales and product management domains.
Ashish has worked in the interactive media space both in India, as well as abroad. He spent his early years, when the Internet in India was just taking off, working with Rediff.com in the web solutions and advertising sales roles. At YooMedia Plc. in London (now known as Mirada), Ashish was the P&L holder and product managed various interactive applications and channels on interactive television, web and mobile. Ashish earned his Bachelors degree in Economics from Loyola College, Chennai and his Masters degree in Media Management from the University of Warwick, UK.
At Travacco he is responsible for building the network of accommodations and oversees the development of the product.

Rekha Goyal (Co-founder, Head - Network Management) brings her organization skills and product design experience to the company.
Rekha has been an entrepreneur all her working life and successfully ran her design studio in Mumbai for 6 years before turning her focus to Travacco.  She effortlessly handles most organizational functions required in a start-up. From conceptualization and product definition to production processes and positioning, she seamlessly manages all in her stride.  Being an avid traveler herself, Rekha understands first-hand the needs and wants of a traveler.
At Travacco she combines her design and organization skills with her knowledge of the travel experience to make our products easy to use and effective in their purpose. She also manages the network of accommodations on the Travacco network.

Brij Mehra (Co-founder, Head - Commercial) brings to Travacco his experience as an entrepreneur for the last 30 years.
Brij has been a serial entrepreneur who has been involved with start-ups over the last thirty years. Starting his career in social work and teaching (at Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai) he moved on to heading an HR division of Sarabhai industries in Mumbai. From there he took his first entrepreneurial jump and, along with a couple of partners, founded Mother’s Touch – one of India’s first branded baby products company. After 15 years at Mother’s Touch he started a logistics company in Bangalore, which he continues to oversee.
At Travacco he's doing what he enjoy's doing most - creating something from scratch. Brij handles all commercial and legal aspects of the company. We of course, tap into his vast network to grow our own.
